Don't reprimand me. I've already gotten enough of it. So about three nights ago, we were bored at our friends house at like 1 am so my friend took my moms car w/out permission (he only has a permit) and we were on our way to WaWa, when we pulled into the school parking lot and began driving erratically. A cop spotted us, and began chasing us. My friend sped out of the parking lot and began doing 60 on some backroads. The cop was within 70 yards of us when we parked it in some random guys house and got out, locking the doors. We ditched and booked it through the woods, and made it home safely. We never got physically caught, but they ran the tags off the minivans they found and showed up at his house, telling his mom three teenage boys stole her van. He was summoned to court the very next day, and is getting charged with driving w/out a license and evading. Could I get charged also, even though he admitted it was HIS decision to attempt to evade them?>

Why wont WMP play DVDs?

I have a new laptop, a Fujitsu Siemens Esprimo Mobile V5535 running Windows Vista Basic. When I try to play a DVD, it goes to launch it in WMP then comes up with an error message saying it can't play the DVD, maybe I need to adjust my resolution settings to a lower setting. I tried this and I still get the same error. It plays CDs fine. I've downloaded another player from online and that plays DVDs ok. I recently got my great grandfathers WWI Gas Mask from my 65yr old 2nd cousin, it's been in the family basement since 1919. I know it was used alot, my great grandfather was in 58th Infantry,4th Infantry Div and was also a POW. It is dry, it has no holes or cracks, but is really dry. Just wondering if theres anything you can do to make it soften up and make it more flexible without damaging it. What's wrong with my subwoofer?

In my car I have a self-contained subwoofer (amp and speaker in a box with a tube). The speaker had been working fine for a while, and just recently it stopped producing b. It will instead crackle/hiss. I noticed that it is recieving the audio signal, because the beat of the song is coming through the speaker, there is just no sound; only crackle. Also, the cone of the speaker is in tact and nothing looks broken/disconnected.

Sorry about your situation :( I've been in the same place you're in right now. Honestly the best thing to do is not to contact her for a while. If she still wants to be with you, she will realize it and try to get back with you. I think that if you keep contacting her, she might feel pressured, to whereas if you kind of ignore her for a while, she may come to realize what she's lost. I know it's a very hard thing to do, and you may not want to, but that's the only way to know for sure. I totalled my car right after my insurance cancelled. My friend and i are severly injured. What do i do?

Basically i may be charged with a DUI. Don't think so though... For insurance i found out it was cancelled when i called to make a claim. They said they mailed it to my old address and sent me and email. I never receive and email but i don't check it that often. My friend and I rush to the hospital via ambulance and both got MRI's. What's good to clean fuel injectors in an engine?

I have a Ford F-150 with a straight 6 cyl. engine with fuel injectors and I have try injector cleaning fuel additives and transmission fluid and mystery oil which I add to the fuel not all mix together but every full tank I will use one of the 3 in the gasoline tank but so far without success. I was elected sopre cl president this year with some good plans. Well about midway through the year we finally had an organized meeting (which I though was supposed to be something frequent) and I gave all the information about the homecoming week. How can a bank hold a lien on my truck after sending me the vehicle title?

My used 2003 truck has been paid off in January of '06. I received the title and a letter congratulating me that my installment loan was paid in full. So yesterday, I checked my credit report and it says my installment loan account is still open and I still owe money on the truck. Today I called the bank(Fifth Third), and they said I owe money and even though I have the title, they still have a lien on my truck. Also, they are saying my last payment was returned for insufficient funds, but when I went to MY bank, MainSource, they were saying that they were never notified and have no records of any check coming back to them. The government has tried the practice of increasing spending in order to stimulate the economy. This practice started under the previous administration and continues under the current. It seems to me that this approach isn't working well enough to do the trick has unemployment is hovering just under 10% and real unemployment numbers are cited around 17% - 22% by economists. Obviously, continuing to go into debt is bad for the country, but a necessary step required by politicians wanting to minimize the impact of a bad economy on the public. I am looking for a dslr camera in the 450-550 dollar price range. I am a filmmaker and have been without a still camera for 6 months and am getting a good tax refund back which would allow me to get a camera in that price range. I've been dating a great guy for over 6 months now; he's 25, I'm 23. He's almost done with medical school & will be graduating in May to start residency. He'll be interviewing at various residencies other the winter months. I'll go along for most of them, when he goes to states out west (we're from NY). He will live at a residency for 3 yrs. It's possible I'd end up starting my own photography business while out there (I hope to someday) which would be hard to move. He said "don't get too attached" to Colorado if we ended up there uming I'd follow him (the one I'm most excited about, as i hear it's a good place to live w/hiking skiing etc). He says he plans to come back to settle in the rural upstate NY in the adirondacks after residency & find a practice to join. I've heard him tell his family a few times, "I'll be back, I'll be back" when they freak out he may end up out west for 3 yrs...(if he doesnt go to Maine residency). He's a bit of a momma's boy, but I've been with worse. I don't see myself living permanently in the middle of upstate ny when it's a dead area, except for summer when tourists come.. He has this all mapped out & it concerns me a bit..Shouldn't I have some say? especially if or when we live together? I keep ending up w/these guys that have their life all mapped out, want this to happen, then this, etc etc.. Guys, when you're with a woman you love are there ever exceptions/ compromise? I try to take life one day at a time, but if he's going to be hung up on this adirondacks thing, I'm not sure i want it. 9 month old puppy vomiting, wont eat, and lethargic. HELP!?

Hello, I have a 9 month old pit mix pup and he is about 77 lbs. In the last 24 hours he has vomited yellow bile about 9 times. He wont eat or drink water, and if he does drink its the smallest amount then he throws up. He is very lethargic and just wants to sleep all the time. I had him at the vet all day today for them to monitor him then I brought him home so I could keep an eye on him and if his condition worsens then I will be taking him to the Emergency Vet. If he had stayed at the vet overnight he would have been by himself all night and I want to make sure he has help if he needs it... They said he was not running a fever and they didn't seem to be too concerned with his condition. They watched him all day and checked him over. He is home now and he is so sick. I don't know what to do to help him feel better. Has anyone had something like this happen to their pup or does someone have any suggestions as to how to get him do drink? I saw someone wrote somewhere they gave their pup low sodium chicken broth?...... He has had all his vaccinations and I feed him natural balance dog food and he always gets natural bones that wont chip off in big pieces, very healthy stuff. you should be able to get the wall and drywall up in a few hours....the joints on the drywall is what will take the longest...you have to wait for it to dry then sand it down, it is better to go thinner layers than one big fat layer of plaster...the thicker it is, it tends to honeycomb or get bubbles, even sinks in sometimes....depending on how well you can drywall, you can do all that in a day & 1/2...the paint coats depend on the color...the darker the paint, the more coats....(use a primer! the drywall will suck paint right up and you will definately end up needing a bunch of coats if you don't use it)...with primer and a light color, prob one coat (KILZ is the way to go as they guarentee one coat finish)...darker color + primer, prob 2 coats..I would guess you can do this entire project in two days comfortably...best of luck to ya!

Tricky horse on ground but amazing when riding her?

I go to the stables every saturday fortnight and there is a mare there called Polka. She is a black new forest pony. She is my favourite there, really responsive when i ride her, great personality and a big softy most of the time haha :P Theres just 2 things i need help with. 1. My dog WON'T stop peeing / pooping in my house!!!?

I adopted a small chihuahua mix, I really have no idea what she is... anyway, she's small. She is 2 years old, I've had her for 1 year. I was told that she was crate and house trained. Not the case. It took me 7 months to get her not to pee in her crate. I am forced to leave her in her crate for most of the day other than taking her for walks / letting her out side to go potty. She cries to go outside only when she is in her crate. If she is out running around the house she finds places to poop and pee, including on my toddler's bed, toys, my couch, my bed...everywhere. Her vet says she's perfectly healthy. I have tried EVERYTHING. I hate that I have to have her in her crate all the time, but i don't have a choice. I can't have the mess in our house, sometimes I don't see her doing it and I don't find it until it's petrified. With a toddler and a baby on the way, I have to have a sanitary floor and play areas. I'm just so frustrated. I don't know what to do. =(

My first reaction was "Wow, wtf" but I'm a person who thinks too much xD. I can't get the same answer for when cos= 3/5?

I got all the steps right, and then I went to calculate when cos= 3/5 and it gave me 47 degrees (after converting from radians to degrees) but the answer in my book is 53.1 degrees. What am I doing wrong? I've tried everything to get the right answer, and I have no clue what I'm doing wrong.

Im 15 and im having mixed emotions. I dont think thats good for a person my age. Thing is, i have a boyfriend and we've been together 8 months. He's away on holiday and has been gone away for 3 weeks. Theres this other dude who i used to go out with and when we went out we had a series of going n breaking up and so on , like a rollercoaster. She probably just doesn't want you to get hurt again. I don't think she's a conceited anything she maybe thinks you're stupid because you're setting yourself up to get cheated on again. If you take back the cheating ex you're basicly giving her a free ticket to cheat again because she knows she can get away with it. Navy + family questions?

I know I've put this up before, I just would like to get more perspective. I'm thinking about joining the navy, but I'm at a crossroad. I currently own a house in Reno, NV (nearest base is in Fallon (about 2 hours away) and odds are I wouldn't get that detail) and I have a wife and almost 2 year old son. I want to join because I've heard the benefits for my family would be awesome and they would be financially taken care of (the recruiter told me that because I'm married with dependents, I qualify for BAH to help pay for the house, and that I could live on base since it'll be just me), but I also don't want to miss out on my only son growing up. They wouldn't be moving with me on or near the base for multiple reasons; getting a reliable renter is very difficult, my wife already has a solid career here, our family and roots are here, etc. Now that I've explained my situation I'd like to know, especially from those with similar situations, is it worth the sacrifice? I know that's more of a personal decision, but what I mean is would I be able to come out of it with a better career? I will be returning to Reno after serving so things like nuclear power are out as there is no market for that around here. I'm into design, both graphic and architectural, construction, contracting; but is there much demand for that in the Navy or are those the type of jobs everyone takes? I have an ociates in graphic design that doesn't seem to mean anything since everyone hiring around here either wants you to have 5+ years of experience and/or are only willing to pay $10/hr (insulting and unrealistic for a college educated person). Would the reserves even be a good option for me as I would like to be near my family? Any advice or personal experiences would be great.

Why does our ground beef smell like wet dog?

I started to cook tacos tonight with a package of ground beef bought fresh just a couple of weeks ago and kept frozen in our freezer. When I opened it, it was pink and didn't smell bad, and it was find after I defrosted it in the microwave...however, when I actually put it in the skillet and started cooking it, it smelled so badly of wet dog, I threw it all away! When my husband got home, we tried cooking another pound of meat, and it was fine until it had spent a little time in the skillet, then it too started stinking like a wet dog. It's so gross!
