Question about benadryl and alcohol?

i took 300 mgs of benadryl 12 hrs ago, do you think it would b safe to drink alcohol now? The effects of the drug wore off hrs ago. I mistakenly took a high dose cause i took the soft gels which are 25 mgs higher then the regular ones and i wasn't aware at the time so i took double of what i wanted to take.
