What do cl presidents do?

I was elected sopre cl president this year with some good plans. Well about midway through the year we finally had an organized meeting (which I though was supposed to be something frequent) and I gave all the information about the homecoming week. After that I look back and realize I didn't really do anything else and I kind of feel bad. I guess I got caught up in sports and stuff like that and now I'm beginning to think I was only voted in for like popularity or something. Do cl presidents actually do a lot? I have never been asked to help with a decision or anything, that's what our student government does (different than cl officer) I mostly just talk to people and things like that or sometimes tell them about what's going on if I know stuff. Have I done a bad job or is this how it is everywhere?
