Why are English, Welsh and Northern Irish people against Scottish Independence?

Because, as any discussion like this shows, full independence will mean a mive row about who owns what. The Scottish/British/Norwegian oil is only one aspect. Since it was Scottish banks that needed much of the bailout, will Scotland take on the bulk of the national debt? Since the last Labour government was primarily run by Scots, will Scotland be absorbing all the immigrants that government admitted with no mandate? What are you going to do with the 2 aircraft carriers they ordered? Do you think that British taxpayers will agree to pay to re-organise the electricity grid, phone and data networks etc? Should Scotland get every 14th emby, army tank, MRI scanner etc? It would be chaos, all to make some stroppy jingoists and 2nd rate politicians feel big.
