Is Jesus the prophesied messiah?

The confusion comes from the Old Testament. The Old Testament talks about two comings of Christ. One of those comings of Christ is to be as a warrior to deliver Israel. When Christ came the first time, this is what most of the Jewish people expected. This was not his first mission though. When he comes again he will deliver his people and at that moment according to the book of Revelation, the Jewish people will bow down to him and know that he is their Savior.
