Time from putting up 2x4s to paint being dry?

you should be able to get the wall and drywall up in a few hours....the joints on the drywall is what will take the longest...you have to wait for it to dry then sand it down, it is better to go thinner layers than one big fat layer of plaster...the thicker it is, it tends to honeycomb or get bubbles, even sinks in sometimes....depending on how well you can drywall, you can do all that in a day & 1/2...the paint coats depend on the color...the darker the paint, the more coats....(use a primer! the drywall will suck paint right up and you will definately end up needing a bunch of coats if you don't use it)...with primer and a light color, prob one coat (KILZ is the way to go as they guarentee one coat finish)...darker color + primer, prob 2 coats..I would guess you can do this entire project in two days comfortably...best of luck to ya!
